La muerte

Tu mano, Belinda
me envuelven las sombras.

Déjame descansar en tu pecho.

Cuánto más no quisiera,
pero me invade la muerte.

La muerte es ahora
una invitada bien acogida.

Cuando descanse en la tierra,
mis errores no deberán preocupar tu corazón.

The plaint

The plaint from "The Faeries Queene", by Alfred Deller

Accidentally found this breathtaking classical symphony and couldn't resist to listen to it several times.

Lyrics:

O let me weep, for ever weep
My eyes no more shall welcome sleep
I'll hide me from the sigh of day
And sigh, and sigh my soul away
She's gone, she's gone, her loss deplore
And I shall never see her more
